Aaron Lennon to stay at Burnley

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon will be staying with Premier League side Burnley next season. The player was a regular starter for the Burnley team in the first half of the season before becoming injured.

Since then Aaron Lennon has been struggling with injuries and has failed to make a sustained run in the team. However, Burnley feels that the player is an important member of the team when he is fit and that they will want to keep the player with them next season.

This will be bad news for Leeds United who was hoping to bring the player to the Championship as they attempt to build another team that will allow them to push for promotion.

Aaron Lennon said that he is happy with Burnley and that he wants to help the team as much as he can. He said that it has been a frustrating season for him this season as he started it well and was feeling really good on the pitch. However, he will sustain a knee injury that required surgery and has since been recovering.

Aaron Lennon said that he wants to come back stronger next season and help the team win games. He said that the objective of Burnley is to qualify for Europe and he wants to help them achieve that. He said that there is a good project at Burnley and that they have a young team full of potential. He said that they have a good manager in Sean Dyche and that he is sure that they will be able to achieve their objective.

The former England international said that he wants to use the close season to recover and make sure that he returned back in shape for the start of the next season.
